Hiện tại đơn – Diễn tả một thói quen có cường độ lặp lại – Diễn tả một chân ký, một sự thật hiễn nhiên – Diễn tả một lịch trình có sẵn – Dùng sau một cụm từ chỉ thời gian và trong câu điều kiện loại 1 | Hiện tại tiếp diễn – Diễn tả một hành động đang diễn ra trong hiện tại. – Dùng sau câu điều nghị, mệnh lệnh – Dùng để diễn tả hành độngsắp diễn ra ( tương lai gần )
